TVISD
The Teton Village Improvement and Service District provides municipal services in the residential areas of Teton Village, including Granite Ridge. Services include road maintenance, road capital improvement, snow removal, parking enforcement, and signage.
The Teton Village ISD was formed in 1985. It is sometimes referred to as a “homeowner’s association,” but is a political subdivision of the State of Wyoming and is funded through a mill property tax.
Elections
Elections for the Teton Village Improvement and Service District Board of Directors take place on Election Day in November. The next election for one (1) director will take place November 2, 2021. The election is conducted by mail ballot.
Registered voters whose address is located within the Teton Village Improvement and Service District boundaries, which encompass the residential areas of Teton Village and Granite Ridge, as recorded with the Teton County Clerk’s Election Office, will automatically receive a ballot.
In addition, owners of real property that is located within the boundaries of the Teton Village Improvement and Service District are also eligible to vote in TVISD elections. A TVISD Ballot Request form must be completed and signed by the individual requesting the ballot and returned to the District Office. The completed TVISD Ballot Request may be scanned and emailed to office@tetonvillagewy.gov or mailed to Teton Village Improvement and Service District, P.O. Box 413, Teton Village, Wyoming 83025 , and must be received by the office no later than 2 PM, 15 days prior to election day per Wyoming Statue 22-16-123.b.i.
