TVSFD
The Teton Village Volunteer Fire Department provides fire protection services to the property owners in Teton Village. In 1986, the Teton Village Special Fire District was formed in order to provide a stable financial base. The “Teton Village Fire Department” is the firefighting arm of the Teton Village Special Fire District.
The area within TVSFD boundaries includes 508.79 acres of mixed use and varied density which is under continuous development. Over 175 homes, 25 condominium complexes, 42 undeveloped residential lots and an estimated 950,00 square feet of commercial space contribute to 125+ annual volunteer call outs.
Properties within the Teton Village Special Fire District boundaries have an ISO Rating of 5 or protection class of 5×5.
Firefighter Roster
The firefighters that serve on the Teton Village Fire Department are volunteers. Bi-weekly training meetings are just a small part of the training involved. Volunteers commit to the TVFD along with maintaining a full-time paid job. Below is a list of the volunteer firefighters at the Teton Village Fire Department.

Elections
Elections for the Teton Village Special Fire District Board of Directors take place on even-numbered years, on Election Day in November. The next election for two (2) director positions will take place November 8, 2022. The election is conducted by mail ballot.
Registered voters whose address is located within the District Boundaries, as recorded with the Teton County Clerk’s Election Office, will automatically receive a ballot.
Donations
Show your support for the Teton Village firefighters by making a donation to the Teton Village Special Fire District through Old Bill’s Fun Run for Charities. This fundraiser occurs in early September of each year, however, the donation window is open from August 9, 2024 until September 13 at 5:oo PM MDT.
Monies donated through Old Bill’s are matched on a percentage basis by community CoChallengers, and the donations are tax-deductible. Please watch for the brochure to arrive in your mailbox every summer and think of us, the Teton Village Special Fire District, on your list of recipients. The volunteer firefighters thank you for your generosity!
Donations are used to purchase personal protection and SCBA equipment for firefighters.
