TVW&SD
Established in 1969, the Teton Village Water and Sewer District provides water and sewer service while maintaining related infrastructure for Teton Village, including Granite Ridge and Shooting Star.
The Teton Village Water and Sewer District treatment plant is located in the middle of the residential area of Teton Village. The facility operates under strict Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) standards to discharge effluent into a Class I groundwater. The facility is a Type IV plant, the highest classification.
Water is supplied from five groundwater wells located at the base of the mountains. The water is lightly chlorinated for public health and welfare. All public water systems are required to adhere to strict EPA standards. More information and test results for this public water supply may be viewed on the Teton Village Water & Sewer District Water Quality Report Page.
